Tell Your Story

Comrades, Every person who wore the uniform to serve their country has a story. For the sake of your family, friends, and grandchildren, it is important to leave a legacy of your time before, during and after service. This is not a writing program. This is not to publish. It's an opportunity to work with you to document your legacy for your family and friends. The 6-week program will begin on Sept. 4-Oct. 9 from 10 am - 11:30 am. The classes will be held at the offices of Signature Wealth Strategies (1018 Grandiflora Dr. Ste. E, Leland, NC. To register, contact us at vfwpost12196@gmail.com. Only 4 places left. Register now.

Veterans Day Event

The Leland Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12196 and Auxiliary are partnering with the Town of Belville to host a Veterans Day event on November 11, 2025, at 11 am at the Belville Riverwalk Park. We are inviting you to be a part of this event. We are looking for vendors, units for close order drills, military-related vehicles/equipment, vendors, organizers, and donations.  We are still working on the details of this event, but would like to start registering and measuring local support. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.
