Jim Rich and Jim Koslosky were two of the charter members of our Post, and both made substantial contributions to its success. Both of these comrades passed in the last year and are sorely missed for their professionalism, kindness, humor, and comradeship.

 

We are happy to announce that the first recipient of this award is Deb Pickett, for her contributions to veterans and to Post 12196 specifically. During this past year, Ms. Pickett has contributed her time, donations, and space to enable Post 12196 to accomplish their goals. 

 

Ms. Pickett has supported every event held by the post over the last several years. This year, she donated the use of her conference room for our Auxiliary to meet, to play Bingo, and to use as a classroom for classes held by the Veterans Creative Arts Program. Congratulations. 

 

In addition to a proclamation and a frame including combat patches of post members, Ms. Pickett was also given official dog tags and a P51. She is now one of us.
